A visit to the old town of Ulm (about 30 km) is highly recommended. The impressive Ulm Minster has the highest church tower in the world (161 meters high), which you should definitely climb (wonderful view). The fishermen's quarter on the Danube is also well worth a visit. www.ulm.de

Charlottenhöhle

The Charlottenhöhle (25 km) is with a length of 587 meters the longest accessible stalactite cave of the Swabian Alb. We recommend that visitors to the cave wear warm clothing and sturdy shoes. The temperature in the cave is about 9°C all year round. A visit to the cave is an impressive experience for children and adults.

Wallenhausen

In Wallenhausen (only 14 km away) there is a forest rope course: Off to the trees! The climbing park is a high ropes course in the middle of the natural stock of trees. Eight different courses with 90 different climbing elements lead up to a height of 15 meters.

Ostrich farm

In Leipheim (only 12 km) there is an ostrich farm. With about 400-500 chicks and young ostriches, as well as about 30 breeding ostriches, it is one of the largest ostrich farms in Germany. In the lovingly furnished farm shop, only products from the farm's own ostriches are sold. Whether eggs, sausage and meat products, feathers, leather or souvenirs here is something for everyone.

Brewery Messhofen

An Eldorado for demanding beer lovers can be found in the small brewery Messhofen, 23 km away, where stunningly good Maerzenbier and Hefeweissbier are brewed. The beautiful beer garden with an old chestnut tree and of course the phenomenally good beer will hardly let you go.

Augsburg

The Bavarian city of Augsburg with 300,000 inhabitants is the capital of Swabia and is only 50 km away. There you can visit the zoo, Augsburger Puppenkiste, city hall, Perlachturm, cathedral, Fuggerei and old town.

The royal castles

Another highlight is a visit to the royal castles of our King Ludwig II. of Bavaria: Neuschwanstein Castle, Hohenschwangau and Linderhof. The castles are located in the surroundings of Fuessen, 118 km away from us.

Munich

Munich (capital of Bavaria) is also always worth a visit and is about 100 km away. We recommend visiting Bavaria Filmstadt, Deutsches Museum, Hellabrunn Zoo, Olympic Park, Nymphenburg Castle, Hofbräuhaus, Augustiner Keller, Viktualienmarkt, Frauenkirche, English Garden and of course the Oktoberfest (from mid September to early October).

Stuttgart (capital of Baden-Württemberg) is also only a good 100 km away and offers many highlights such as the Wilhelma zoo. Lovers of oldtimers and cars get their money's worth in the Porsche Museum or the Mercedes Museum.

Lake Constance

A trip to Lake Constance would also be interesting, for example to Mainau Island (150 km) or to Lindau (127 km) or Meersburg (140 km). In only 15 minutes you can take the car ferry from Meersburg to Constance. In Constance you can cross the border into Switzerland.
